My next paint job.
« on: August 22, 2014, 07:47:30 AM »
I have been researching this stuff since I saw these videos this morning. It looks doable but it would not be easy and I imagine that it is pretty heavy compared to traditional paint methods. It looks awesome though.

The first video is cool.  It is a real product.  It looks rather doable, .003 in thick on top of primer (so yes, fairly heavy like enamels), then the decorative paint job.  It appears to require 18v ac power.  Night time performances anybody?

the second is fake.

Perfect for a Bank holdup. After the gig, a bit down the street, change the color. Elude 5-O.

Very cool.  I know Russell Bond will be an early adopter.  He is desperate to get a jump ahead of us on bling.
