Looks fabulous. Unique hinges. Look like removable flying surfaces.

Could you tell us about the hinges?

Where does one acquire some of said hinges.  I have been enamored by them since I first saw them on a Russian plane a couple of years ago.  Can't find them anywhere or even a picture of one.  I am sure I am simply looking in the wrong places.

*** I deleted the Video Link ***
1) It is easy to tell from the video that the stab and flaps are not removable.  Have you considered a removable version?

2) With the imbedding of the flaps as much as you have (nice work!) do you seal them?  If so how.

3) What material do you use?  Bass splits too easily for my liking, so, perhaps Spruce or plywood?
The Video "looks" link 1/8" plywood.

4) How do you finish the pocket and hinge barrel since they become inaccessible when you glue on the blocks.?

I lost my scroll saw in our fire a few years back and I don't have a 3D printer (perfect candidate) so making them myself is going to be extremely difficult. If I can figure out the making part, I will never use anything else in the future.
