I'm finishid my new plane
based Classic 2 yatsenko
1780g
all balsa
engine - stalker 61
Pilot - Smurf

The scheme was created by my brother, I built the model and covered.
Today I made two test flights, flies very well, still needs some tweaking

Fantastic paint that's a lot of talent, your an artist, I could only do simple things, your's outstanding.

Hi Osni. I just want to say kick butt paint job. How did you do it? I am not a very good painter and would not even attempt a finish like yours. Did you cut stencils or was it sketched on the wing and then filled in like a tattoo.

This plane is covered with MonoKote, my brother cut all the parts by hand.

With that pilot and the paint scheme it has to fly great. If the rest of the pattern is a good as that clover, you have a winner.

Great model, and it flies well too, gotta question, or more, I'm curious about how you have the engine set up, head shims, nitro,or fai fuel, glow plug and prop size, dia and pitch.

As I said at the beginning, that is a GREAT looking model..

Here we go:
- 2 shims on the motor head
- 5% nitro 20% oil
- Thunderbolt glow plug
- Prop 13.2X5.9 raimbow

That's one of the best Monokote covering jobs I've seen. You even fooled all the paint boys with that work....nice. Hope it fly's as well.

I like to do paintings in my planes, but I have no ability to paint. So I prefer to do the cover with MonoKote, can work better and lighter. Ever tried to paint and was heavy.
Maybe I still learn to make light paintings.
The merits of drawing and cutting MonoKote are my brother Thiago Buchler, I built the plane and cover.

I don't care if it is a iron on covering job. It looks fabulous to me. I have seen Monokote finishes that should have gotten 20 points and didn't because the person admitted it was Monokote. I like Monkote as it doesn't irritate the family with odors.

My wife and I are allergic to strong odors, it also prevents the paintings, this is one of the reasons why use MonoKote.
I admire those who can make good paintings, unfortunately I have no skill of painting.
I wanted to compete in the U.S. NAT's one day, but I think to use MonoKote, would my grade decreased.

Osni, come to the NATS and compete. If the appearance judges don't know it is Monokote, you should not take that much of a hit. I've gotten as much as 12 points for mine.

The Stalker will definitely run much better with time. Good engines takes times to break in!
