Sorry Gordon, I can certainly sympathize with you and your family......my mom passed away at age 51 from Cancer....she suffered a lot but never quit smiling. May they meet up in a place where no one is old or sick but have a new body, perfect in every way. God bless yall during this time.

As others say, It's a terrible thing but it does happen. My mom passed at age 39 and I was 18. My dad made 2 more marriages.
They helped him make a long life. I was a bit hard with him for some years. I regretted it much when I watched him waste away in a "home."
The less pain we have when we go will be better for us and for our younger family folks. May HE walk with You and Yours.

Always hard to lose your Mama.
May you find some Peace in this trying time.

Most has already been said. It reminds of what a guest pastor said one time and preached on, We are never ready when death comes. It has been some years since the loss of my Mother on a Thanksgiving morning a some years later a Mother-in-law a couple of weeks before a Thanksgiving. So you and your family take care.
