I couldn't make it through the week without them! H^^

I hope they both have a better year than last. They sure deserve it!

By the way, apart from one week a year in the hot dog booth, Nikki is the editor of Control Line World.

Two of many reasons to put Brodaks on the calander for next year, I might add the smiles were for real and they are two new friends to look forward to seeing next year.

We haven't haven't mentioned the prices!

Hot dogs -- 50 cents; nothing extra for a bog dollop of sauerkraut if you wanted it!   ;D Real grilled dogs, too, not those waterlogged tubes common in hot dog stands.

Coffee, 30 cents.

Pizza maybe the most popular item, can't remember the price on that.

The ladies were always cheerful and friendly, bantering with the customers, no matter how busy they were. They were good time managers also. Seldom a long waiting line, and if so, it dissipated quickly.

Here is a picture of their headquarters at the Fly-In. We called it the "WEENIE WAGON".

Hi ALL!!

I really appreciate all the great comments. My mom and I do enjoy cooking in the "weenie wagon", I just wish there was more time to just mingle with ALL our family, at this annual "Reunion". I am having withdrawals as I sit here and think about what a great time it was!!

Again...thank you and miss you all already!!

Nikki, be sure to remind your Mom about adding at least two other colors to her hair.  Right now I'm suffering Brodak withdrawl symtoms. Love you both, my rememberences daily.

Boy and Girls,

I must put in a couple of cents on this thread.  I have know Nikki since CLW first started.  Because I do write for CLW I have had many occasions to visit with her.  She also designed my cards for me and did a much better job than I could even imagine.  Simply, I love her and Vickie and they both know it.

There was a reference to the past year these two ladies have gone through.  I know quite a bit about that but will not go into any detail because I feel that would be betraying a confidence.  I will say that honestly, I don't think I would have mentally survived a year like that.  I can not adequately express my admiration for these two wonderful women.

Later,   John

BTW:  Pizza  .50 cents

I remember well those two beautiful women from Brodak's!  It has been a few years since I got to go, but they are the very best.  You can never forget good people! y1
