My Force - for Profile Stunt
« on: April 23, 2013, 08:26:31 PM »
As it sits- it is right at 46oz. Still need to add the pushrod and muffler. More weight.  HB~>

Of course it has a LA .46 taking care of the business end.
My bride found a RV-6 with the scheme and picked out the colors from the Brodak paint chart.
Pollyspan and silk.

I think it looks good from 10ft away. It's got a few dingle berries.  ;)

It was a ARC. Zuriel cut the fuse for a LA 46 then wanted to build and electric and passed it on. The guy cuts some nice parts.

I hope to have it in the air this weekend.
Stay tuned.....

Lookin' good Paul. I think the question might be: How does it fly with flaps? (From Sig the P-Force is elevator only). 8)

Oh, I get it...Cool. Maybe you could call it "Full Force", naw, save that name for the built up fuselage version. 8)

Paul,

That looks outstanding.

This is the Force from plans available from PAMPA.  It has a couple of mods and should fly great with the LA46.  This would have been my third Force and my hat is off to Paul for doing such a great job and for being a great friend.

Thanks Paul,
Zuriel

Hi Paul, Will you be flying this at the FlyIn this year? If so I think it will be a hit for sure! Let us all know how the LA.46 works out for you!

Thanks,

Great looking plane Paul. Can't wait to see it at the WKSI this year. If it flies as good as it looks, you have a winner.

Cool Force! (They all are). Mentioned the flaps because you originally mentioned it was an ARC/ARF. Primary Force, no flaps.
Here's mine, built in '91 / '92 from a cocktail napkin plan from Mikey. This one, like his used a Chipmonk wing. OS .32 on a Smith pipe.

So, what issue of Stunt News was the plan for your model published in Please?

Gotch Ward-O.

It was a ARC cause Zuriel cut all the parts and handed me a wing that needed a little TLC.

I then spend several weeks molding it into shape.

Paul,
    Zurial,

Is anyone going to save me from looking through eight years of STUNT NEWS for this plan?

Howdy Ward.

I think there were three brief construction articles.  I just looked and know for sure the Mar/Apr 99 issue covers the fuselage construction.  I have always enjoyed this design.  It flies great and looks great on the end of the lines.  The plane Paul has has the tail lengthened 1 1/2" and the stab area increased.  I have built two previous and a derivative I called Alias (I used a Cardinal wing).  With the heavier LA46, I thought the change would have some positive results.

Ward,

I found the original article in the Jan/Fen Stunt News on page 48.  It may have been difficult to turn the pages for you at that time, see page 38.  I took that article to heart too!
