I can only see from the video, but it looks to me like you hit the holy grail,(that may not translate). At this point, I wouldn't change a thing!! Again this is just from the video. Such a good setup for someone just starting out, what a rarity.

I say, stick with what you got for right now. Later on, as you get experience,(which looks like it is coming pretty fast) start to bump up the nitro, up the pitch-to maintain bite, and increase your line length. Whoever are the guys who set you up,stay with them!!

You say you are a beginner.   You are flying mucho better than some people I know.   But, you need a coach that knows the pattern and get off that hill or dome what ever it is.   On both flghts the level laps, intersections and the 45 degrees needs work.   From what I have seen you are or would be an Advanced Class flyer.   Just stay with it and watch the ones that are better and listen to them if they try to help.   Anyway I enjoyed the videos.

That is exactly what he looks like to me also. I strongly agree, that he needs to get off that hill on get on level ground, so he doesn't develop bad compensating traits. Gots to have ground reference!!

Jorge is doing very well, and I would agree that he's flying at the "Advanced" level in PAMPA skill classes.

The camera's perspective is perhaps a bit skewed from having the lens set at widest angle possible, and/or being placed close to the ground? I wholeheartedly applaud having the camera fixed, with no operator waving it around, following the plane's path, making comments and chatting with bystanders, or with loud "exciting" music in the background. Very good job, Jorge!  Steve

As soon as possible I will get a good place to practice.
Unhappily, the control lines flyers nearest from me are at 800 kilometres.
Then:
1 - I  repeated read "AMA Stunt Pattern for Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Classes". 
2 - I have seen Youtube vídeos with David Fitzgerald; Igor Burger; Richard Kornmeier and others good athletes, to learn the patterns from judge point of view.
3 - Make vídeos to criticize myself, and send to friends criticize me.
4 - Last year I entered in 5 competitions were sazoned flyers observed me and criticize my flyes.
5 - One member of Control Line Stunt Forum, Mr. Martin Quartin, is being my mentor.
6 - I had same experience in building and flying RC sailplanes, then I build and finish my own Control lines models.
7 - I was an archer from brazilian team at Olympic Games Seoul-Corea 1988, and have experience in mental training.
8 - I get a lot of good information in this forum.
     I think those are the reasons of my progress in control line.

Well I just gave Jorge many technical tips and help him setup his engines, mostly over the phone and emails. Unfortunately he lives way far from me.  

Most of the flying he did by him self, no one to fly with or coach him over there as far as I know. It is quite an achievement, because when he called me about an year and a half ago he poorly did loops and eights.

I was very impressed with his amazing capability of understanding and absorbing technical C/L stuff I dump in his head.

He is hungry for information and has been absorbing everything he reads. Now it is me who is calling him to get some advice about finishing    You gotta see the Thundergazer he is just finishing.

So my friends,  here is Dr. Jorge!  Another very talented competitor arising among us.

Hi Jorge,

I just noticed you need to reinforce the Bulkhead on the T.E. of the wing. I have been trying to call you with no success.

You need to come here one weekend so I can fine tune your engine. Seems it is running too rich and I would like to see and hear to make fine adjustments. The way it is running now is really good, but I can make it better.

Hi Martin,
The TG bulkhead on T.E. is like they recomended on the kit, I just glued a pice of 1/64 ply for aesthetics reasons.
Thanks for the invitation to go to Campinas. I will try to get some time and money to go there.

Jorge,

You are missing a very critical point here my friend. Please look at the plans again, right underneeath the wing T.E it should be printed "Balsa Block and Hollowed" (hollowed for the mounting bolts passage).  This balsa block does not appear in your model.

This is the area with the most stress and you really must reinforce it. I don´t want to see your model flying with no fuselage attached to your lines 

If you have any doubts please call me so I can clearly explain to you.
