Bob Gialdini's Eclipse, pictures needed
« on: April 14, 2007, 07:36:44 AM »
Bob mentioned to me that he has the fewest pictures of the Eclipse.  With this model going into the line of models, I am working to document, could anyone who has shots of the model send them to me.  If you have color or black and white shots and you could scan them and email them to me, I would be grateful.  I have high speed so size is not a problem.  This is a time consuming project and with publication dates, we will get it done as soon as all the details come together.  If you have pictures which you could have copied at your local photo shop, I would be glad to repay you for the time and effort.  Any help is appreciated.  Perhaps this could be copied into the Classic section also.

Out of curiosity, do you know what happened to Bob's Eclipse? It was a fabulous looking model.

It is at his house and I will pick it up May 25 in order to reverse engineer the model and publish it with the help of Dale Barry and Watt Moore.

Allen,

I have several slides I took of the Eclipse at the "65 Nats.  I'll dig them out and I can send them to you so you can have them printed.  I would like them back when you are finished with them.

Please E-mail or personal message me your address and I'll send them off as soon as I find them.  There are views from several angles as well as a couple close ups as I recall.

Allen,

I just found my 35 mm slides of the Eclipse.  There are 3 slides, one with Bob preparing the model in pits, one group shot with the Stingray and one semi close-up of the front, wing forward.  All 3 are nice clear shots

As I just have s l o w dial-up internet I will send you the slides so you can use them as you please then return them to me.  Please PM or E-mail me your snail mail address.
