That is a great article and well written.  Hope he can get some others flying with  him, as I agree flying alone is not too much fun.  I see he is working on a Bi-Slob.  How do I know, I am working on Bi-Slob number 3 for Melvin Schuette.   Got the wings framed up yesterday.   I have the major components done for my Ringmaster project and have started the Ringmaster Imperial.  By the  way thanks for the article.

Hey Mike that was a song that came with the app I made the movie with. It sounds like a nice walk down memory lane.

John- Joe pittles all winter on models. He builds some pretty stuff. The privateer in the video was his. It should be ready for Cheezehead 2014.  ;D

Hi Paul, It's nice to know that there are folks actually older than I am that still enjoy our sport! When we still lived in PA and my daughter lived in VA I enjoyed bringing along a model to fly with the guys in thee Norfolk Aero Modelers! Well I did move and am now a member of that Club! Sadly we are all aging without any new blood joining our midst. Just reading that article warmed my heart on a very chilly day!

Very cool. It's nice to see any control line activity published in the general media, and especially with accurate information. Nice work. y1

Hey Paul, thanks for posting this. You actually got to see the article before I did. I am going to the Senior Center tomorrow and get a few copies for my family. The reporter, Julie, was really interested and she asked intelligent questions and made me feel comfortable telling her what we do. She spent a couple of hours at my house asking questions and taking pictures. This kind of warmed me up after 36 hours of below zero.

Hey Joe.
Post some pictures of your Bi-Slob. Can't wait till Cheezehead 2014!

Hope you can get the field ready.   ;D
Maybe I can help the day before.
Stay warm!
