After work, my coworker gave me my birthday present. Eat your hearts out:

She made a six cylinder radial engine, but when I first looked at it, it immediately reminded me of the Szkeley SL-3 engine famous for being used on the Curtis-Wright Pusher:

Wow, that's cool! I love presents like that, just super thoughtful especially in a world dominated by Starbucks gift cards.
I recently bought an old sig Spad kit for old time sake on eBay. In there is a little pamphlet about a vintage airplane combat theme I think sig was trying to bolster. I has some cute line drawings of their Spad and Fokker in c/l combat, a little cartoonish. My girlfriend noticed it and vows to stitch one of the drawings for me on a hand towel. I have no doubt she will do that.
Tools, a little jealous....
