Several months ago I was the winner of one of the kits given away by Bob and the Stunt Hanger team-a Walter Ulmand "Zilch X" kit. I finally finished the plane and is very fun to fly. Anyway, my THANK YOU to STUNT HANGER!
Oh, silk span, all dope, dyed dope on wing, OS MAX .30 (I had when on the RC dark side back in the 70's), water decals from my computer, note Stunt Hanger decal on cowling under muffler.
Again, Thanks Stunt Hanger.

Man you are not going to catch very many fish if you keep using your jigs as pilots. LL~

Paul, I only use baits that have not performed at catching fish. I figure that they may make better pilots than fish getters! And unfortunately I have an unlimited supply of these!
Looking forward to the Fall Fun Fly.

Plane looks great, but, where are the build pictures? Also what changes did you make if there were any. I know Walter covers a lot in his kits. Have fun, DOC Holliday

Doc, my plan was to build a solid, light, OK looking plane. I really needed this for practice. So, I didn't spend as much time on the finish as I should have, but weight came in at 34 oz. Not bad. I need smaller wheels. Didn't have any 2" but will get them. Attached, a couple of building pictures. Anyway, some of the kit modifications...Morris controls, CF push rods/ball links. Tip wt box, adj. lead out, top deck tank access, and made up engine cowl to kind of match the OS .30. A bit of a tight fit, but it worked.
Paul, attached is Stunt Hanger art work, you can make your decal.
Bob, nearly all of my building now is an assortment of tips taken from Stunt Hanger. Using the dyed dope tip was a big help. You know, "taking from one is stealing, but taking from several is research!" I use Stunt Hanger as my research center for CL.
Again, thanks for the kit.
