There was a ".45 or .49" question on RCU, a while a go:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10685609/tm.htm

and the expert answer was:
""""""""""""""""""
Those with the 'blank' circle were mostly .45 engines.
The .49 engine usually had a 'figure 8' machined there.

Most .49 engines had a green anodized head (.45 engines had a red anodized head), but that was before most engines got the blue anodized head (and prop-driver).

The only way to be sure is to measure the stroke.

The .45 had a 19.6 mm stroke, while the larger engine had a 21 mm stroke.
You can measure the stroke through the glow-plug hole; no need do disassemble.

""""""""""""""""""

I built a Blue Pants as a kid. Wish I still had it. Might even learn to fly it.

It is usual GFS engine ... could be 6,5 or 7,2 or 8 ccm.

this looks like classic 6,5 (0.40 cu inch)

All I can say positively is that it takes the same front bearing as the ST G21 46.
