Title: Mustunt Question
Post by: Harold Brewer on January 05, 2018, 02:47:34 PM
I have aquired plans for all of Al Rabe's Mustunt planes (I, II and III).  Mustunt I & II are the same with the exception that I has a profile fusalage and II has a full fuselage.  The Mustunt III has a different wing, in that the leading edge is tapered.  My question is:  What is the difference in flying characteristics between Mustunt III and Mustunt I & II ?

The tapered leading edge is called leading edge sweep. it helps with a model when cornering, and a basic aerodynamic theory says that leading edge sweep helps with stability. Through the years there have been varying amounts in designs, and there are lots of models with constant chord wings that turn just fine. You can build any one or all three and be assured that they wili perform quite nicely.
