Title: MP Jet
Post by: Robert Zambelli on March 03, 2012, 07:04:24 PM
I bought this little gem around 20 years ago and I've finally decided to use it.

It's an .061 and will go in a scale Cessna 120 for the MCLS contest.

Ball bearing, great compression. I will run it in tomorrow.

Has anyone ever seen or used one of these?

I haven't used the glow version but am running the almost identical diesel.  It's a fabulous little engine - really nice handling and does about 17600 on an APC 7x3.

Robert, if you weren't aware of it, MP Jet have recently restarted production of these, after a break of about 10 years.  So spares support shouldn't be a problem.

Steve

(Forgot to mention that mine was really tight and took a lot of running-in.  Worth it though.)
