So far away from home
« on: September 18, 2014, 08:19:09 PM »
Crist came all the way from Texas to compete in the Akron/Cleveland contest.I watched him put up a few flights in some 15 mph wind with his Electric powered Resolve. He isn't going to make it easy for the competition. Stay tuned to see if he takes some hardware(and perogies)back south when he leaves next week.

What a pleasure it has been hangin out and flyin with Crist.  I'm sure he will do well at the contest too, as his airplane flys real well and so does he.   :)

Crist is a great guy and we in Texas want to selfishly keep him. So when he travels, remember that he is on loan.

Got some more guys here for the Akron/Cleveland contest, Jim and Todd Lee. Beautiful morning for some practice at the Berea fairground flying field. Bill Werwage showed up to do some skunk work on his newer USA1.

Crist,
Jeff showed up this evening at the field, we did alot of flying with some pretty dead wind but it doesn't look like we'll have the same for the contest. While we were there Paul Buluch showed up with a couple of fast combat ships. He was testing a few Fori 15's with his carbon fiber muffler design. He still has it. But I heard he probably still has a used diaper from when he was a baby.
