With the Ringmaster "Fly-a-Thon" not all that far away,

You can Post a photo of your Ringmaster in this Thread, as many other modelers have.

http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php/topic,33485.msg415981/boardseen.html#new

Or, just Post a photo of your Ringmaster here!

I'll have a photo of mine up shortly.

Charles

Edited for PHOTOS!!

Mine have already been posted on other threads.  Plain and simple finishes as these are my go to planes for flying year round.

Threads sometimes fall to the wayside with age or lack of interest.

Plenty of new Members now who may have interest in the Fly-a-Thon and would like to see Ringmasters that will be participating in it.

I for one am looking forward to seeing modelers Post photos of their Fly-a-Thon Ringmasters.

This will be my first year.  I scratch built this S-1 from plans last winter.  I hope the weather cooperates, it can be a little breezy here in October.

My trusted Ringmaster, originally built in 1980 ish, rebuilt in 1992 and again in 1999. Had four different engine packages, Fox 35, OS 20 FS, PAW 15 diesel, OS Max 25.

Attila Csontos designed and helped these Slovakian children build his electric powered Ringmaster 900 (900 m span). They flew them this summer at the "World Cup" event in Slovakia!

This was built from the Dee and Pat Gold Label S-1 kit.  Brodak .25 flying on 56' center lines.  Flies good, at least to the best of my abilities.

You need a separate circle just for Ringmaster flying while the other are confusing the judges.  Here's my latest Ringmaster.

What Doc Holliday says! Several US contests allow (encourage) Ringmaster flights in a separate circle or after the competition to support the Fly-A-Thon!

Part of a company sign I pass by. I've meant to post it for a long time but finally got pics. The rest of the sign only included the address. Please don't use this for decorations of logos or anything, I just thought it was cool. I see the aspect ratio is off but you get the idea.

Here is my lowly Ringmaster that has been around at least 15 years. Picture is from the SAM Champs in 2006 where it won first in Old Time. Still fly's great with the McCoy 35 Red Head.

It happens next weekend!! I hope everyone is ready and I wish I were! Lots yet for me to do but I'm not going to worry if I don't get it all finished. I have four S-1 Ringmasters ready and another that just needs landing gear and a pushrod. That should be enough.  ;D

I just came across the photo below. It is John Stiles with his 2X Ringmaster!! John truly has the spirit of the Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon!! Flying that 2X probably should count as two flights since it is twice as large as an S-1!!  y1

Now there's a coincidence! Years ago, about 1966, I did a CG Buster in pink silk and trimmed it in red just like this Ringmaster, looks good on the Ring too!!!!!

Just finished.    My last Ringmaster was approx 1972 or so.  I'm just getting back into CL..

This is S1 kit from Brodak with an OS 25.   It flew yesterday and both landings were bad (ground loop).  I need to fix/adjust the landing gear.

I also went with a DARE theme on my trusty (and oft-rebuilt) S-1A Ringmaster kit.  First built this in the late '80s with an All-American UltraCoat covering then pancaked it on the asphalt at a Skyraider meet.  Made repairs and flew it some more then another minor mishap I decided on an all black finish with the DARE-adorned stickers (it used to have one on each wing panel).

It was one of my best flying Ringmasters so the last splat around year 2000 it sat begging for another repair for 15 years.  Got the urge to repair it for this year's Fly-a-Thon.  Didn't have any suitable tanks so strapped a 2oz clunk tank on her and put 16 combined flights Saturday and Sunday for the Fly-a-Thon.

Our fleet in Minnesota on Saturday

Peter Martin (L) and Jim Jorgensen try to coax an ancient Fox .35 to life in an S-1 Ringmaster which was built some 50 years ago.  With the help of an electric starter the Fox roared to life and ran pretty well.  This model flew great!
