Hi Everyone,
Teena and I were so looking forward to moving to Tulsa and being members of the club. Unfortunately, the small tumor in her lung is not the only problem. Teena had surgery a week ago Tuesday. They found the other small bumps were also cancerous, even though they didn't appear to be on the PET scan. It even blew the surgeon away as he in no way expected it. Unfortunately, the pathology report shows she actually has 2 types of cancer that I can not pronounce. The cancer is at stage 4, so you know what that means. Hopefully the chemo will take care of it but we have faced the future and will make the best of it. We have not met with the oncologist as of yet. We are hoping and praying that things will go well. If so, maybe we will revisit the dream of moving to Tulsa.
Teena has been my whole life and our 39th anniversary is Saturday. She is the one that encouraged my modeling hobby. I'm not sure what I will do. I do have a lot of CL and RC planes I will probably get rid of. Anyway, thank you for your wonderful hospitality and if you are ever in the Sacramento area, give me a call and maybe we can burn some of this fuel I have sitting around.
Sincerely,
Bruce and Teena Malm :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Bruce take care of your wonderful wife, even if I have never met her, she sounds like one of the very few special ones. Mine has put up with me over 40 years and the good Lord has blessed me with our health. I can't imagine ever being in your spot, so I will think of you and yours as well as pray for you.
Take care maybe the chemo will make a cure. I have a neighbor up the street that went thru a year of chemo and therapy. She has been clean over a year now. There will be time for planes when she is healed/cured. Yours, DOC Holliday

Although difficult in times like this, the two of you need to try to stay positive. Prayers and positive energy are very powerful.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Chris and Wendy

OMG Bruce. This is horible news (except the part about you staying in CA). Big prayers out to Teena. I'm including Kristen, Gordy and yourself too. I hope you're right about the chemotherapy solving the problem, but going through chemo is no picnic. Call me anytime for support, I'm only two hours away.

Bruce, we here at the Tulsa Gluedobbers will keep Teena in our prayers and thoughts. We will keep the lights on for you both, so when things get better, you can find your way here again.

Thanks to all. The doctor said on Friday that there are also some Biological remedies that just attack this particular disease. Will know more after meeting with the oncologist, hopefully this week. The Doc also said he believed Teena would be very receptive to eather one. It's all I'm praying for.
