Title: Mother's Day
Post by: john e. holliday on May 08, 2011, 07:53:06 AM
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms of this great country and the world.  Yes some of our Mothers have gone on but are still remembered for the support they have given us.  Especially my Mom, when after my first Rat Race Contest on the way home asked me why I didn't start my own engine.  She was right, it was easier to find a pilot back then than a good pit man that knew my engines.

The best Mother's Day wish I've heard in a long time came from NASCAR driver Carl Edwards last night. When asked during a pre-race interview if he had any special Mother's Day wishes he would like to make he said . . . "Yes, tell all those Mothers out on the track to stay out of my way".
