   Does anyone have info on a 10/22 blend   50/50 castor /syn? I thought I saw it a few years ago  I looked on their site & saw nothing.

John, Wildcat makes "Jet A" (or Jet Eh?) which is 23% oil and comes in 5%, 10% and 15% Vitamin N.  It comes in 1 gallon jugs, so I think 4 gallons per case.  Hobby Town (NOT Hobby Town USA!) in Parkland could get it for us on special order. Their # is 253 531 8111, ask for "John". If you have a Wildcat dealer closer, try them.

Most of us in the Renton/Tacoma 'hood use Wildcat "Premium" 10% (those of us who still use IC power). The oil content is 18%, and the "Premium" means that it has "some castor" in it, which is understood to be 20% of the 18%, aka Klotz 200. I try to remember to add 1 or 2 oz. of Randy Aero's "Aero-1" to decrease my run time a little. If you're interested in splitting a case (2 gallons for each of us) of the the "Jet A", let me know...phone works, email works...and I'll call Hobby Town and get it started.   Steve,  it sounds like a pretty nice blend but at this point in time I am looking for a high castor fuel. The 50/50 castor syn blend is what has been working for me recently. I will maybe call Richs  Brew or get some Powermaster ,sig is also an option. John

I did see on the Wildcat website that their fuels were now being mixed by Byrons, and figured that was what it really meant. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I don't know; never used any Byrons. I'm for talking to the LHS owners and see what brands they can get, and if they'd order a case or 6 of CL fuel for us guys.    Steve

I have purchased several cases of the Morgan c/l blend Omega in gallon size over the last two years. 
Had my local hobby shop which handles Morgan fuel order it for me.

Our Hobby Shop here in Olympia (Lacey) carries Powermaster 10-22 for us.. they had 3 gallons last time I was in there ... it's about $23/gal... I add 2-3oz of oil for my older engines...

     Our LHS carries Omega/Morgan  10-11/11 fuel in gallons. They get it through Horizon Hobbies I think- I'll check. Our LHS can also get PowerMaster 10-11/11 too from same supplier. He gets free shipping- savings to customer.

John...I called Pete Peterson and he said that he has run most of a gallon of the 10-11-11 Morgan CL mix through his engines, and likes it a lot. He also said that he'd talk to the owner of the Parkland shop and see if he can get us some...either the Morgan 10-22 or PM 10-22. I think most of us would be willing to order a case (or two) at a time?

I also talked to Rod about the Covington HS, and he didn't think they'd go for it, because he talked them into stocking 10-29 and it sat and sat. Wonder why? It's finally gone, tho. If they'd stocked 10-22, it would have moved just fine.  Steve

  If I ever get up to Burlington I'll ask the gal that runs the place   what the options are. I wont need a lot but it's nice to have it around . I recently got some plain bearing engines & don't want to run my all syn in them.

If the shop orders from Horizon Hobbies then they can get the GMA Powermaster.  I just saw it this afternoon, looking over the shoulder of my LHS owner.

I just ordered a case from my LHS.  The deal is that the hobby shop either has to pay haz-mat fees to UPS like you and me, or they have to get a pallet-load of fuel.  So my LHS only orders fuel every month or two, when he runs low.  If you can get a shop that can remember you for that long, or if you can catch them right when they order, then you're in like Flynn.  (Says Tim, hoping that his local shop will remember to order the fuel...)  My LHS happens to be very good about special-ordering stuff, as long as it comes from the distributors that he's signed up with.
