Still needs leadouts and lines emphasized to make it obvious that it is a C/L plane, so that it isn't just another model airplane on a T-shirt. Dunno 'bout others, but I am proud to say that I fly C/L, and I want my T-shirt to stand out and pictorialize it. Most people see the picture first but never get to read the caption.

I am afraid that 2 lines will look like dirt on the shirt. But here they are added.

I agree the two lines do not show that it is a control line plane.

I think the words tell you that it is control line.

just my 2 cents.

Yes sir, it is a part of CL and I support PAMPA fully. I guess I was thinking of the other disciplines of CL that Stunt Hangar supports too. Probably impossible to please 'em all... HB~>

The lines don't look like dirt to me.  The lines definitely say control line.  I like  the other picture with the person flying the plane as well.  :)

Robert,

I like it!

You might consider shortening the bottom line a bit, such as "#1 Control line Forum", as that gets the message across, without overpowering the Title line.

Outline the lines in white like the airplane, then they will stand out.. A little farther apart would help also.

How about the background being round or eliptical, and maybe bending the text to match that? just a thought..

Not trying to anger anybody. Maybe it's just me but the red background has got to go. The plane should standout from the background, as it is, it blends into a big splash of red and the Cool plane is lost visually. You wouldn't be able to see the plane from across the circle. It is not COOL.......If the red background is the shirt color then it would be a cool picture on a white or a gray shirt.  Just not on a red shirt. Grins

Please understand that I have to keep the screen changes down to a minimum. They charge a dollar per shirt per color change. So in order to have red stripes on the plane in all color shirts this is the way it must be set up. I have already upped the colors to a three color process instead of two like last year. More set up fees and more per shirt. There will also be a half tone shadow under the plane to make it stand out more.

Also remember the wing span on the plane will go all the way accross your back

Sparky,

The ONLY thing I would change is the size of the prop-------it's a little small.  But that's just a minor detail and not a deal breaker.

Go for it!!

Robert,
I like everything about the design . I would like to make a comment however, I have done screen printing for several years,, (not currently more in the past) If you print the solid red "balloon" around the plane, on a hot day it will feel like you are wearing a plastic blanket on your back. I would strongly recommend just using the red in the plane. the printer can underprint the whole airplane solid white , then the red stripes print over it, then the detail lines on that. This avoids the mass of color block which is uncomfortable on hot days,, and it cleans the design up allowing it to print on any color shirt including black or dark grey and still stand out very well. If you have any other questions or i didn't make it clear email or message me.
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

Hey Robert,

I think Mark Scarborough makes a great point and gives you the flexability of any color shirt and you still get the lines of the Continental as you wanted.

I'd go with his idea and I definitely agree with him on the background on your back on a hot day.
If you own one of the earlier "FCM" shirts you'll know exactly what he means.

Just my two cents, but a strong two cents.

Not nit-picking, just a thought, Robert. The word "PAMPA" on the right wing looks to me like it has the same height lettering all the way across, instead of getting smaller with "distance". I don't know how else to explain it. Maybe an artist like Mike Keville or Mike Schmitt can explain what I'm attempting to convey. It may be too dificult to do with the silkscreen process, and probably not that important. I'm usually seen wearing a "DMAA" shirt or PAMPA shirt, but this one you're doing is going to compliment my wardrobe, for sure. Nice work, and a nice touch getting input for your project. Thanks.   dg
