My new models...kinda sorta
« on: March 07, 2009, 01:26:55 PM »
Finally got two kits finished this week. Started them Monday or Tuesday and got them done today, less the usual buffing and such. One weighs 59.5g and the other 60g even. A bit heavy, but the CG's are right on the money, and I'm confident that they'll fly very well!  LL~

Oh, the kits came from Carl Shoup and the handle tape is "Rod Wrap" that I got from Bass Pro Shop. I'm not convinced that this will work out, but I had it already. The finish is two coats of Zap Finishing Epoxy, applied with a throw-away "acid brush", sanded between coats. Good enough for amateurs like me. It stopped snowing! ~> Steve

Hey guys, you have to build the Fancher handle you get from Carl.  I know as I have one.  DOC Holliday
