In between sorting out chaos at home, I'll try to post some pics as I get a chance. First are some launch pics of Kent Tysor launching Bob Zambelli's Stinger, and Derek Barry launching Stan Powell's Tempest:

A few more pics:

And a few of Dale and Derek Barry's planes they brought to the contest.

Long drive home to Indiana. Here are some more pics. from the contest. Great contest, Roger and I really enjoyed it.

This is one of my favorite pictures I took. Hampton Virginia's Artie Jessup contemplates the circle between rounds in Intermediate/Advanced on Sunday. Maybe, like Alexander, he wonders if there are any more worlds to conquer in Intermediate >:D
-
Some more pictures; Allen Goff's Petra stunter with which he placed second in Expert in on Sunday, two views of Bob Zambelli's Argus powered by the little engine that could, the Saito 30 4S, and a view of Eddy Ruane's All American Sr that he finished third in OTS with, behind the dynamic duo of Charlie Reeves and Tommy Luper:
-
Here are a few Huntersville shots that I got.
John Tate

A couple more pics, including Roger Wildman's Caprice and Jameson, Lyn Weedman's 52 Nobler, and another view of Lyn's and Curtis Comer's planes in the pit area on Saturday. The last picture is Willis Swindell looking at his Brodak P-40 ARC.

Any contest is a great time. Even if it rains, it just gives you more time to drink beer, eat pizza and rag on people! My brother lives in Plano now, so he goes by the field often. I told him to be on the lookout for a couple of skinny guys about his age, that should allow him to identify you guys(!). He was impressed by the jet speed guys last week, the jet sounded cool over his cellphone!

More pictures,
Thanks to all that come to the contest, we had a great time, Charlie Reeves won the American Junior 404 event . with a elimination flight that needed a dethermalizer when it hit a thermal , longest flight I have eber seen on a 404 . For those not familiar with the 404 , it is the fold wing glider that Jim Walker made famous and is now produced by Frank Macy . Too much fun.....

Don, Roger Wildman lives just east of Indy. We fly with one another several times a week at the AMA flying site. He does not have a computer, but he is in the PAMPA membership book.
