Need to know fuel tank size for this engine. building A F14 Tomcat stunter 60 inch wingspan would love some feed back about this engine props ect.          Tom Weedman   AMA63672

I don't have any experience with this particular engine, but I do have some for the sizes each side of it. The .40 usesless than 4 oz's, as does the .51. My preference is for FAI fuel, no nitro, and about 18% oil with no more than 5% of that oil being castor. I believe that castor isn't really needed for these engines, and am not overly concerned if the oil is all synthetic.

Props are about what you would expect for the engine size. Testing will help you find the best for your use, but look in the10 through 12 inch legnths, and 6" pitch.

On mine I used a 11-6 APC and 5-10% nitro, 18% all synthetic. The instructions specify a 6" pitch, and I was a little skeptical, but it definately works! I think the launch speed was around 8400 rpm.  Ran good with a sorta "grunty" sound. Seemed to be rather well made.
