Ahhh Ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!

Just kidding.  Looks great.  Much better than my first plane on returning to C/L.  Can't wait to hear about your first flight.

Thanks everyone,
It's a Brodak Tomahawk.
I haven't decided on power yet,but I have Enya 25 SS,Fox 29's (a bunch)
Brodak 25,OS FP 20's and 25's.
When I started it I was leaning toward the Fox 29.
I will soon have a circle in my front yard, and don't have to worry about a muffler.

I'll probably finish everything else up first and use whatever balances best without adding weight.

Find out which of the engines have the same bolt pattern and use one of them. That way if one engine isn't right you can try another without drilling more holes.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.

If it was me (and it isn't) I go for one of the OS Max FP.  I am no engine setup expert and the OS FP have always been easy to get dialed in.  I run the standard OS muffler and a uniflow tank on muffler presser.  Seems to jump up and run every time.

The best runs I got on my Brodak Tomahawk was with a Brodak 25 with one extra head gasket added. That was a sweet combination.

Hey,all those engines will work great if properly broken in.   I need to get a pictoral on how I am now mounting engines on a plane.  I use aluminum plates for the engines thatare permanently bolted to the engine.   The bolt pattern on the plates match the pattern on the plane.

That looks nice Doc !!!
I went with the Brodak 25
I think the FP's will interchange if I need more power.
Right. Now I want soft !

Nothing wrong with it.  Pick an engine and fly it as much as possible while you build the next one.

Nice to have a circle in your front yard.  I guess you have no nearby neighbors to annoy or they don't care.

Either should be far more than sufficient for the little Tomahawk, in fact, overkill. I think you definitely need to consider killing some power somehow.

Nice looking plane Mike!  I just returned to the sport last year after a 30 + year absence.  My first out of the chute was a old Shoestring Stunter.  Yours looks great!
