I saw a guy do this once with his new Kaos (rc but same principle)  He landed it right at himself and instead of moving out of the way he jumped over it.  He jumped with the grace of a much younger man, in an older mans body.  Planted both feet directly on either side of the fuse.
Needless to say his just maidened new plane was completely broke in.
