I hope all you guys back there are keeping your heads down and being safe in this nutso week of ugly weather! Please feel free to report in at your earliest convenience. You too, Sparky...
You can rag on our Seattle weather all you want...at least tornadoes are really, really rare around these parts, and then they don't amount to much. Probably because it never gets warm enough? @@^ Steve

The bad stuff passed about 60 miles NE of here.

I noticed trees and limbs down all over the neighborhood here in Shawnee KANSAS, but no tornados. I hope all the people in the affected areas make it okay. Looked at pictures of bare foundations and destroyed homes. Prayed for the families that lost love ones. :'(

We lost a former student from Pope Co. schools. She was Jaylynn Ferrell and was lost in the Harrisburg IL tornado. We are attending her funeral today.

Powerful storm that was total missed and not expected hit just east of Charlotte NC last night at 2:30 PM and took down a lot of houses. It came right through the forest behind my house and missed us by 500-700 ft. It took down several barns and a lot of trees on a road 1/4 mile behind my property. We had very little wind at my house but it got very loud for a little while. We watched on TV this morning and thought it only came within 7 miles of us.

I was born in the Ozarks waaay back in 1939... My twin sister and I were born behind a barn..NOT BUT ALMOST...then we lived near Fayetteville Ark. and lived in Eureka Springs Ark..until we moved to Kansas 11 month later...where our family experienced many many Tornado close calls...but NOTHING AS INTENSE AS WHAT WE HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST FEW YEARS...
GOD BLESS AND KEEP ALL OF YOU IN HARMS WAY! OUR PRAYERS AND OUR GIFTS OF WORKS... HIS WILL MUST BE DONE! ...
WE NEED TO BRING OUR NATIONAL GUARD HOME RIGHT THIS MINUTE... ESPECIALLY OUR ENGINEERING OUTFITS THAT IN THE BEGINNING WERE DESIGNED AND EQUIPPED TO SERVE AND PROTECT OUR NATION...RIGHT HERE AT HOME AND RIGHT HERE ON OUR OWN SOIL!![/i]![/b]
