Here in Iowa City we had about 4 inches of snow but the drifting caused drifts as high as 3 feet.  The wind is biting cold.

Here in KC it started out as ice crystals and changed to snow.  Only about 2 inches.  Did take time to start rubbing the color on the P-39.  Also I am working on the Sheeks Spitfire as well as the Baby Flite Streak.  DOC Holliday

We had 6 inches of snow in the western part of St. Louis County over last weekend.  But the roads stayed quite clear and it was never bad.  St. Louis dodged the bullet again.  Then, it began to melt.  Steve Smith called Saturday morning and said we might have a window of decent weather between the fronts.  So we met at Buder Park and got in our December flights for another All Season patch!!!  Plus, the wind was not bad and it was in the high 40's so we each got in several flights above the minimum.  It was a very good day.

Sunday, my wife and I left the house to visit some friends.  It was 55 degrees.  But the time we started home (around 7 PM), it was raining and the temperature was falling rapidly.  By midnight, it was back down to 25.  I think I am looking forward to spending some time with the kids and grandkids in San Antonio.  I understand they are in tee shirts and shorts!!!

Happy Holidays, everyone.
