I have a friend of mine that has a Midwest P-40 with everything there and in very good condition that he wants to sell. I have no idea what it is worth, could anyone help me out?
Thanks
David
P.S. yes it is still in the box. Unassembled.

Depends on who he wants it to go to. To a modeler $50-$75. To an eBay kit collector maybe $75-$100.

I'd agree with those prices for a 48" version, maybe a bit higher on Ebay during "normal" spells.
It seems like right now is a good time to be selling on Ebay though, I've seen some stuff go for absolutely ridiculous money lately. y1

There's a guy on Stuka Stunt looking to buy one, in the classifieds.

Thanks for the responses. He is at a swap meet now trying to sell it.

that is a 33" wing? its a 19 size. Berkley p-40 is a 48" wing. It was a great flyer! never had one myself , friends did, I flew theirs. 48 was a little small for serious competition. that's why i never built one. the last Berkley p-40 I saw on eBay went for $186.00 about 2 months ago Jim

Post was about the Midwest P-40. Berkely P-40 is a different animal. I sold a Midwest P-40, 48" wingspan for $75.00 about 2 years ago. Tom Dixon (and possibly others) have plans available for all in the series. 8)

Hi Jim,
The Midwest kit been asked about is a 48" WS profile brought out in the mid '60s. There was a whole series of 48" profiles, A1H Skyraider, ME 109, P-63, P-40, P-51.... there was also a series of 33" WS profiles of basically the same planes, but not all. All were flapped, etc..
