Finished the Micro Ringmaster Stunter, which was built from a kit by Pat King, and uses a Cox Tee Dee .010 engine. (Pat King's webpage is http://pdkllc.com/airplanes)
It took me a while to figure out how to mount the engine. The cylinder needs to be horizontal to clear the fuselage. Then the outboard mounting screw lines up behind the cylinder. On the outboard side, the screw head needed to be aft of the engine mount, so the tank could fit up close (I had already installed the tank positioning rails). I couldn't find a find a 2-56 nut having a diameter that would fit into the space allowed for it on the forward surface of the red plastic engine backplate. I ended up buying a 2-56 threaded spacer that would fit, and cut it in half. Those became the two nuts. On the inboard side, the nut is aft of the engine mount. There is a hook above and below the fuel tank. Magnet wire was wrapped to secure the tank within the positioning rails, and some drops of Sigment to secure the wire.
Haven't had a chance to fly it yet.

Hey Dave, looks great. Come to the Nat's and you can get with Danny for some after hours micro flying.
This pic is from last year, young Sam giving Dan a launch ROG off of the wing of a battered Ringmaster.
Yes, the divot on the wing was from a prop strike. Don't do that...

Haha! Only a very few people would think up something like ROG of the wing of another plane. That's pretty cool.
And so is your Micro Ring, Dave. The devil is always in those tiny details getting everything to fit together. Good work figuring it all out. I've never flown a plane that small. I'd love to do it sometime. Looks like fun.

Looks like it would be a great indoor model :!.

Be careful! Somebody will declare it OTS legal, then you'll have to kit two hundred copies of it...
