Just a reminder, if you're coming to the Mich CL Champs I will be holding my annual Weenie Roast Saturday when the flying is over. In addition, bring along your swim suit and a towel and cool off in the pool. Hope to see you there.

Another great weenie roast. The engins you brought out were interesting to see and the history you provided on many of them really rounded out the information on them. Thank you for hosting again this year.

This contest has been going on for some time at the Signal Seekers RC field near Westland/Inkster/Wayne for quite some time. Normally falls on the 3rd weekend in August or the week before the FCM contest. OTS, Classic/N30, Profile on Saturday and the skill classes on Sunday. Since this is already on my calendar I did not notice if there was a flyer out there or not. Did see it on the AMA website though.

Thanks John, I enjoy the Roast so much, it's great to have the guys together without the pressure of flying and just sit back.
To those that requested location and date, this was not a contest notice, that would be in events, this was just a reminder that the Weenie Roast was ON. Sorry for the confusion.

Sure hope so Allen!!!! The weather man kinda bungled this one but it appears to be improving with the rain risk diminishing, they're saying 30% between 11-12 then sun and light S-Easterly winds for the afternoon.

My Mom lives in Westland MI. If this had been posted in the events section I probably would have gone there instead of Paducah. Mom always likes a visit from Sam and I.

I apologize Mike, but I was not the CD, I just host a Weenie Roast for the guys on Saturday. I wasn't aware it wasn't posted in events, but at the same time, if you want a calendar you can rely on the AMA contest calendar is the best way to go.

I will for sure start using the AMA calendar, it just never occurred to me that a stunt contest wouldn't be posted here. It would be easy to join you for a stunt contest, free room at moms, 15 minutes away. #^ #^ We'll shoot for next year.
