Title: Michael Collin, Apollo 11 Astronaut
Post by: Dan McEntee on April 28, 2021, 02:01:55 PM
Just saw posted on line that Michael Collins has passed away from cancer. Another one of my heroes has gone west. Who do younger kids look up to these days if there is no one that even approaches what the Apollo 11 crew accomplished?

I have the autobiography but haven't started reading yet, Beth gave me a copy for Christmas.  Courageous man.

Definitely the best (and most honest/least self-aggrandizing) of the astronaut memoirs.
