Title: Meteor started

Looks like a short nose moment needing a heavy engine. Fourstroke? Roscoe's plane. My favorite era of aircraft. I'm a Golden Age fan thought and through. Dan Banjok's Vista is a homage to this era of pylon racers. Fabulous model. Did you have Bob Hunt cut the foam for the "lost-foam" construction? Very exciting aircraft.

No this is not a Tbolt wing. The plans will be availabel from Stunt Hangar along with the Lost foam jig. Many things to come in the future. The engine will be a PA.75 with a pipe. WS is 60 inches with 1 inch swept forward TE.

Where did those great color pictures come from? Is that a replica? The photos don't look like they were taken in the 30s.

Looks like a really great project to do a video build of. I am sure people will enjoy seeing it and will want to get this one ASAP!

What are you going to do with the landing gear? wire carbon?

Tank will be a small challenge too!

The wing is a 62 Ares blown up 10% WS 60 inches, I will be using the CF gear that you sell however they will be cut in half just like my S6B with a plywood slot locked box that I finally did with that plane. The fuselage is a real challenge I have a drawing and I am trying different ways of construction right now. The thing that is hard is I want a scale like look so the stringers aft of the cockpit are a must. This creates a few problems. Another thing that is a challenge is the sheer girth of the fuselage. In order for it to look scale like it needs to be as round a possible, in order to get it round and still hide the engine with the TL coming out the center is going to be a trick. I think I have the drag factor figured out. Inside the cowl it will be streamline and the cowl will vent into the atmosphere. Nose moment will be 8.75 and tail will be 17.25 I still can mechanically fit a tank into the nose. I have some special bottles if necessary. One other thing to keep in mind is I want this to be a Stunt Plane not a scale plane so IMO it needs to be light,if weight was not an issue I could do anything.

If you turn the gear backwards you should get the same angle sweep forward that the real one has, Or the F2B tall swept gear maybe a better choice
