Merlin plugs

I heard a rumor that the owner of Merlin plugs died. What is the scoop on this, he did really major service to the hobby. First, if so, I mourn his passing as a giant of the industry,  H^^

And secondly, (selfish so and so that I am) will the plugs still be available?  >:D
