The weather held out until we were done. Other then a little very light rain it was great weather, lite wind and over cast. No sun glasses needed.
A few pics.

I plan on it. You going over to Eldorado or down to Baton Rouge? I'm hoping to make both.

I would like to thank Louis and everybody that made Memphis great. My wife and I had a very good time. But a special thanks goes out to Jim Lynch and Charlie Reeves for repairing my fuel tank when it sprung a leak. This is what makes C/L great. Thanks again from Curtis Shipp.

Curtis
It was nice to put a face with another name here on SH.
Just for the record Curtis hand a RTF to Willie who placed thrid in beginner!

Nice pictures Paul. It was good to see everyone again and always fun to fly in Memphis. I had the last flight and now have a nearly 45 OZ Phorce that started the flight at 39 ozs. It'll dry eventually and I do know better.
Thanks Lou and Jim for another good time.

Zuriel,
The Force looked real good doing the pattern. Everyone had to fly in the lite rain. But I can not tell you if it had an effect on the way I flew.
"Our" Tutor II (the one you gave me) flew real well, it was just the lose nut on the handle that lost his mind after screwing up the first set of inside loops. But being that was only the 5th pattern I ever flew I feel real good that I brought "our" plane home in one piece.
So the rain drops that got in our planes.... will it dry out? Will it cause the wing to warp? HB~>
PS- My sixth pattern was round 2. y1

Roots,
Not bad for your sixth pattern! I did notice the "cheat sheet" you had in your hand though y1

Louis and the Barnstormers put on another well run contest. The circles were a pleasure to fly off of. This contest is a great example of collaboration between the R/C pilots and the control line folks. Other clubs around the nation should take notice. The awards that were presented were quite unique and well done. Having been there for most of the past meets that this club has hosted...it was noted that there has been some serious flying improvements made since the last meet. Those Taylor boys had "their groove on." Everyone needs to try and make this meet. The location and flying site is one of the best.
Well done! Barnstormers.
Norm
BTW: Louis...there was a news reporter there taking pictures...did any pictures make the paper???

Hey Norm,
It was great to see you again. I am not sure I had my groove on but Ryan sure did. We had a blast.
I sure liked your Novi4.
