Memorial Day Weekend Contest Salem , Oregon

I hope we have a big turnout ,the weatherman says 74 degrees & 5 mph winds.  I find it's a much easier place to get around in than Eugene ,plenty of places to eat. As far as places to stay ... well at least there wont be the PAC 8 Track & Field meet going on.
Anyway I'm looking forward to it.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I was heartbroken last October to find that the Outback on Lancaster Blvd. was boarded up and gone. I can't imagine how an Outback could go TU, without severe mismanagement. There's another somewhere N. side of town, but I don't ever feel like driving that far. I'm looking for a good Chinese restaurant, too. Keith and I found one we didn't like last Oct. I've lost all respect for Shari's and Elmer's restaurants. Sybil's is good for brekkie...but oh, wait, I'm dieting. I'm not sure if they're open for dinner.

I'm going to miss Eugene...had found a bunch of really good restaurants and a decent cheap motel. I'm not going to miss that wind/turbulence we had last year. OMG, that was awful.  :o Steve

If you mean the Robo-plane, it has acquired some 'lectronics, and now stops a desired number of degrees after you do a cutoff loop any time after some 200 seconds of flight.  But you're welcome to borrow it.

Uh...is it still IC powered? It doesn't sound like it. So no, I guess I'm spoiled by "Good (IC) Vibrations" and powerful nitro methane fuel. Thanks anyway, Tim.  H^^ Steve

Did I say I replaced the power plant?  Huh?  Huh???

It's IC powered, and with a stock OS muffler, it sounds like it.
