Membership applications
« on: January 08, 2013, 01:58:02 PM »
Applicants for membership that I have gone over in the past couple of days have numbered well over 400, yet I have only accepted 2................ we have so many bogus tries that I think we need to come up with another way to join, or close membership for a while.......

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Found this on the SMF site. The company that makes the software for the site.

It is the same for the Paducah Aero Modelers site, (for PAM members only) and I only approve those who are members.

I say NO a lot.

I was in no means promoting any ideas about paying for site membership, just stating some statistics that those who have never dealt wit a site like this might not know about, or even guess.  Just a short time today I rejected over 250 applications.  Approvals=0
