Meet n Meat
« on: September 16, 2015, 12:05:56 PM »
Due to a hectic schedule, I've been able to get in only around 15 flights total, over the last 4 months. Those were all on my hardly trimmed Trophy Trainer. Tomorrow I'm heading to Woodland/Davis for the Meet n Meat where I've entered Classic and Advanced. The only way I'll win anything is if Uncle Jimby gives an award for coming in dead last in each event entered. :(   (I'm already embarrassed.) Oh well, I'll have a really fun weekend losing, and where I'll strain my arm, and Brett will again whip everybody in the Fox 15 hurl.

You will be pleased to know that it is almost impossible for you to be last. The Buttafouco stunt team’s most junior member is likely to be in attendance at the Meet and Meat. Please consider bringing suitable protective gear if you intend to watch him fly.

Bobs, did you get the wing pasted back onto your Strega ARF yet?  LL~ Steve

Well, two fence posts puts you in good company.

In 1990, Jimmy Casale hit a fence post in Cleveland ( which I witnessed) and a stop sign back east. I still can't get over the stop sign, considering where most stop signs are!

You could one up him with another fence post this year!! >:D

Then Bob would really be your uncle....

Thanks for the reassurance…

It seems like I need to find a stop sign to out rank Casale then….

Seriously a Stop Sign? how on earth did he @#*(+_&* manage that? ….

I thought Jimmy hit a lightpole at the Bradleys store parking lot. I used to fly there a lot and the lot was huge, it was the only pole.

Nope....Jimmy told Billy and myself directly that he hit a stop sign.

How do you do that??

We didn't ask because that was just minutes after we extracted his wing tip weight from off the fence post. It was an "I" beam cross section and the lead wrapped around the edge of the "I".

Oh well.....
