The images you see me post here are not created in the traditional sense. (not painted via an image program like photshop or MS Paint) They are computer generated renderings of fully Modeled 3D representations of the real aircraft. To get a Lockheed 1049C into an image first the airplane has to be modeled (built) in a 3D CAD or animation program. Depending upon the detail required this can take hundreds of hours to complete. The final image is only as good as the quality of the 3D model. In a sense we have to build the entire aircraft, Tires, Engines, Props, Wings, Fuse, Cockpit the whole package from scratch.

Detailed 3 view isometric drawings with contour sections help speed this along but only to a degree, after the basic shape is created it is hours of adding details, like brake lines, shock struts, nuts and bolts etc. I have to first be able to find good quality 3 view drawings that I can import into my software so I can start outling the correct shapes. Without the 3 views the process take way longer.

Peter, I know a little about graphics rendering and know it's no small task to accomplish the results you have posted. Was kinda kidding about the Super Connie but wishing in the back ground...

Your drawings are fantastic  H^^

Pretty cool.
I like the top picture.  Are those F-5's?
Kind of like the T-38 Talon (one of my favorites).
Very nice!
