This kid seems to have gotten real good, real fast. The fink! >:D
Just kiddin'ya there, Matt. You're cooler than the other side of my pillow.

Thanks Paul, but where's the rest of my flight ;D . Just kidding, that is just fine. Since then, now I adjust the needle myself, just need grandpa to launch me H^^

Man I am not very good behind the camera. Ryan is much better at it. There were too many cool planes in the air. You were on one circle and I think Dennis was on the other circle with his lectric plane. I got a little of his flite. Then someone walked up and started talking to me. Too much going on at one time. n~

I mentioned in my next gen. column for stunt news that Brodak is so big and so fun, you want to be in 10 places at once!

Hey young man, I noticed a big boo-boo to me at least. I know Grandpa was holding the plane, but, learn to go around to the back sideofthe plane to walk to the handle. For me it seems I can see the lines better and I don't pick them up until I get to the handle. Just one of those quirks I have. Maybe we will meet soon, DOC Holliday
PS:This keyboard may go to the trash. jeh

.....learn to go around to the back sideofthe plane to walk to the handle.....
I agree 100% John .... I see so many videos where guys walk to the handle in front of the lines. This is a huge safety issue with me, and I'm very vocal at my field with the new guys about this. My other peeve is poor starting habits. Place your body in front of the prop when starting, not to the side where your in-line with the prop arc!! I see this so many times at my own field, it makes me cringe ..... <shudder>

I run my lines out with the lines in my fingertips, so I untwist the lines, and to make sure I don't have any kinks in the lines, and to wipe the oil off the lines. That's what I was taught, and do every single flight. If you look at the video, you see me bending down to grab the lines. That time I didn't wipe the lines down as I think that was my first official.
And now I adjust the needle myself, and I start the motors with a chicken stick, save my fingers.

Do it from behind. I usually check my lines in the pits as I get ready to go to the circle. One or two twists has never bothered me. DOC Holliday
