You should enjoy the Marietta meet.  Look for it the weekend after Mother's Day.

Good contest ,  a light turnout . But as all of the Atlanta contest, well ran and good judges make it a good contest .. Thank you Ronnie Farmer and Bill Gruber , Tom Dixon and Dick Schneider  ...

Ty was right about the sun, I wish it had stayed behind the clouds , right down wind  , But a good time had by all that attended, now on to Brodak's

Congratulations to Derek Barry  First place in Expert ,Steve Fitton Second and a  great flight by Roy Tranthum for third flying a Classic Chizzler  in Expert .

Big thanks to Tom Dixon and the Cobb guys for a great contest.  I wouldn't have given a chance of it coming off given the weather forecasts, but as Ty said they were completely wrong and the heavy thunderstorms never showed up.

Congrats to John Simpson for winning the John Brock Perpetual Trophy for his win in Nostalgia, and congrats to William Davis for his debut contest in Pampa Expert!

Has plans made to attend but a sudden, unexpected, hospital stay cancelled that..........   my thanks to Steve Fitton for checking on me, and congrats on a second in Expert!  Maybe I will be able to make at least one meet sometime in 2011.

Hi Paul,

That IS something I would like to do!  I haven't seen Jeff in a while.......  A lot will depend on when they reschedule my shoulder surgery now.  I have been "left hanging" about that, maybe I will find out more this week.  The trip is a bit long for my liking as far as traveling alone anymore, but it is an event i would like to take in.

Sorry it took so long to post these shots of the event, too many hours at work. I did attend this event and it was my very first one, and I must say, I my wife and I had a great time. I did come away with a great kinship. Ty was a hoot, you gotta love that guy. Now I will try and post some pictures. Thank You all for making me feel welcome. Ed
