Title: Making use of a windy and rainy day.
Post by: Paul Taylor on April 22, 2012, 05:16:03 PM
So the wind has still been keeping my planes grounded. So this weekend I checked my lines.
I had a set that had some broken braids. I had another new set that needed epoxy on the wraps.

I do have a need little wrapping jig. I stole the idea for the jig from SN's several years ago.

 Works great!

Looks like the wind my die off late tomorrow afternoon. I need to practice!!!

Well that is really neat Paul.  I dont quite understand how the spool of copper wire is incorporated and held for wrapping the wire..but it looks like a really neat way to wrap your lines.

If you learn to tie off the copper wire, you don't need epoxy or solder.   But, of course I don't wrap lines or leadouts anymore. H^^
