Have you checked with Windy Urtnowsky? Windy has videos on EVERYTHING.

Also, made a quick check and found:

Edit: That's Dan not Dave...sorry Dan.

I thought that Dan used to have a step by step outline, but I can't find it now.

Hey Mike, don't you mean undercarriage?

They sure make it look simple enough. But, as they say the materials is the cost factor.

Thanks Bill, that was the article that I remembered (or at least one like it)
landing gear vs undercarriage Just another example of 2 nations separated by a common language <G>

In a previous life, I had the pleasure to fly the Vickers Viscount, lovingly referred to by some as the "Redcoat's Revenge". The gear "switch", changed to a "lever" was labeled, "Chassis". The propeller gov'ner had both "flight fine" and "ground fine" for pitch selections.

Windy sells the DVD on making CF landing gear for $15.

Once you have the materials, it's not very expensive per unit. But a roll of carbon fiber cloth, carbon tow, epoxy, plywood for forms, molding material like Tap Plasitics Qwik Cast or similar and mold release wax or PVA release can get pricey (to say nothing of my very cool, but very cheap, home made post cure oven). The actual cost of the gear per unit is not much, but accumulating the supplies can get up there.

What a fine tutorial! Wonder if CST has any more (free ones)?

Actually, I would be interested in finding someone to do protos of CF gear for a few semi-scale birds I had
in mind! :P
