Am planning to start on a profile Oriental next week and was going to mount a NIB Magnum Pro .40 on it. The engine weighs .55 oz more than a OSLA .40 and I'm sure more than that when compared to a Fox .35 of yesteryore. I was going to cut 1/4' off the nose before I mount the engine to offset the extra weight up front. Does this sound resonable?
Ha anyone used a Magnum .40 for this application? What am I in for?

Don: from my personal experience, the Magnum is an excellent running engine but needs one particular mod to tame it.
Radius the combustion chamber (.45 inch) until the squish band is about .040 to .045 wide and taper it upward 5 degrees.
This worked for me.
