Seeing as some of you are skeptical. I invested in a professional web publishing program. I have been playing around with it and come up with a mock up cover. Give me your input as to what you want to see. This is your magazine.
The LEADING EDGE magazine is just not about stunt. So you speed ,scale, combat, carrier guys get the submissions in. Let us see how you do it!

Thanks, I could not get my ThunderBolt on the cover of other magazines so I can at least see what it would look like. LL~ Do you notice the artistic difference already? This magazine will be the best on the web trust me! And with your color printer the best in your hand.
Remember I am not limited by costs as to the color. So what the writers send is what you get. Color photo yields color articles. No more guessing on what color the plane in the picture might be.

I just printed the cover onto Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper High Gloss. It's a 20 point finish.

The question is does it look like a real magazine cover? I do see its smaller then what the real cover will be due to resizing for the forum. The real cover will be 8.5 X 11
Lets try is from a .pdf. This file is un-compressed

The answer to your question is yes it has great color ---inserts of articles etc. --enouugh to make you want to look inside to see it all.

Recopied and came out better: The printing was alot sharper, really looks outstanding. Plus the overall size was larger.
-
Ditto what Bill Gruby said -
Makes you want to open/download the issue and see all that is inside.
Great job Robert!

That idea has allready been taken by RCModeler.

Very impressive...the pdf file is slower than molasses in January on my computer, but it did print out very nicely, full size, unlike the jpg file which loads and prints much faster but at about 85% or 90% of full size. the slow pdf may be an indication my software needs an update, I don't know. But the cover is gorgeous.

I mean really guys, can you have to many pictures of pretty gurls holding pretty models,,
-
Heck nothing wrong with pretty gurls holding ugly models.
-
Am I wasting my time with this? I need to know about content not something that isn't there like girls.
-
Sparky
You are not wasting your time. The real proof will be how many step up with articles for the magazine.
My fourth is in process.

I agree Sparky, you are not wasting your time.
I am looking forward to what you can do with that new video camera. I think a report on the upcoming Ice-O-Lated contest here in St. Louis at Buder Park on Sunday February 25th would be a good start on showing the world just what you can do with an on-line magazine.
I'll get you my donation for the website in general at the contest and I'll sign up for the magazine as well.

Bob,
I have been browsing through the comments and they are very positive. The MAGAZINE will be great!
What I would personally like to see would be anything tecnical about building, finishing, flying ect.
Keep out the politics! Once politics enters the bickering starts. This is a wonderful web-site!
