Hey, spring has arrived in the the Puget Sound. 46°, sheets of rain, mild wind and occasional lightening. Sounds like flying weather here. Well, except for the lightening.

I've flown combat in the rain, not by choice...
The drops kept hitting my eyes and could not find the enemy's plane; but the ground found mine  LL~ LL~ LL~ H^^

How can I convince the wife we need to stay in Tuscon?  Balmy 80F with gentle breezes.  This morning you could tell the guys from up North and those that have been in Tuscon for several years.

Doc,

Vermont is now infested with killer attack squirrels, not sure where they are heading next. Will take them awhile to get to Tuscon, so you should stay there with the wife.

Oh, that's a flying squirrel - frustrated he's not able to get any flying in due to the bad winter.
He should be fine by tomorrow, perfect flying weather if he doesn't mind muddy landings.

AND I LOVE FLORIDA!

24 hour flowers, Palm trees, I hate the cold and can tolerate the heat. Humidity, forget it unless you've lived in Jersey. And we don't allow no stinkin' hurricaines near Tampa Bay!

W.

I'll make sure to send you the next one that comes thru Miami.

As Mark Twain once said -- "If you don't like the weather in New England, wait ten minutes, it will change". We got a half inch here in Bristol Ct.

I am getting P%$& off HB~> since, I've been planning to go. 1 day of sunshine and 6 days of wind, rain and 45 F every week doesn't cut it... DK^ DK^

Rafael, I feel your pain!!!  Everyday for the past month has been rain with the exception of about 7 or 8 days, and those days, we've had a soaked field to the point where we can't fly without floats, or the wind blows 100mph!  I flew on the 1st of 2nd of April this year, and that was it!!!!!!!!!! >:(  We leave for the NATS in 2 months yesterday, and I haven't had the least bit of practice yet, but at least I'm able to get the new plane done while it's raining.

And because of the soaked field, we can't get the lawnmower out to cut the grass (and it's approaching my ankles too I might add).

And furthermore, lake champlain is at it's highest level in over 100 years or something like that, and my grandparents basement flooded last Friday, and grandpa has been hard at work trying to keep it from flooding again (especially because there's more rain in the forecast!)

UUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

Edit:  I just looked at the weather forecast, and assuming they're right, this week will be the last week of rain for a little while!  #^

Not far North of the Gulf here. Tues Am 41deg F.
Wed Am 40deg F  this AM 49deg F.
Almost the middle of the year ???

What we need is to turn off more of the world's  cold climate temperature monitoring/recording stations and help give Global warming another much needed boost.
Apparently James and Al didn't turn off enough of these last time.

Save all the H2O that you can Doc!
As more is trapped in the reflective cloud layer and once the variables settle down our lower atmosphere is gonna get very dry. The rain will stop.for a looong time.

All due to changes in from the current "neighborhood" that Sol System is currently traversing.

Root cause of climate change can be found here:
http://solstation.com/x-objects/chimney.htm

a little more..our travels.
http://www.astrophys-space-sci-trans.net/2/53/2006/astra-2-53-2006.pdf

This info only begins to scratch the surface of what it all means.

Note
We do not orbit our galaxy in the plane as the spiral arms do. we pass through these arms.

The most interesting is that the sun will pass through the Orian arms center very soon.
We are no longer in open space above or below the plane.
