This Sucker is ( was ) 57 span , OS 40 FSR-S . but it kept going lean . So thats a G 51 in it .
Id dragged it over here ( Aus. ) but only had .018s 7 THAT muffler , which wasnt a good idea.
It was ' sorted ' on 66 ft. .016 solids , and a .46 muffler , so fell from a great hight when the engine cut way up high .
Easier to hitch hike around ' folded ' though .

Nailed it back together - Eventually gave it to a 5 year olds mother .
First flight had been lean & tail heavy at dusk in a 20 plus Kt steady ' breeze ' . If you held your arm straight & THOUGHT about moving you wrist
it did a loop . If you DID move your wrist It Did a 5 Foot loop . And was up forever , getting m o r e Tail heavy as the 6 Oz tank emptied .
The engine eventually stopped , down wind . Got into Wind and full control reversal . But Landed itself o.k. on about the forth ' hit the controls ' .
Other Than a 3 Oz Noseweight dwematerialising in the bottom of a Square once , out at the Coast , with the G 51 in it , was no bother .
v Tight Clean squares . Unbothered by 18/20 steady wind , or crosswinds from the trees . A notch less steady inverted . As in if you were
knackered from the walk to the field , you woke up smartly as you pulled of the loops inverted , as was sensitive Not Blunt , on the Controls .
Basically designed to Std U.S. " .46 " proportions , maybe a notch smaller in the tailplane , but outer slot / balancers on the Elevators ,
That Go slotted past 1/2 movement , so gave NO ' oops , the winds got it ' moments .
Bellcrank was a 3 1/4 roberts ?? , so the reasonable pull made the handle feedback absent - You Had to WATCH it , rather than ' feel ' it .

Havnt done anything on this 63 in version lately . Stalker 66 , But Id prefer the G 51 In It , We Shall see .
Thinking Retracts will go in it , finally figured em . Would use it for my Comp ship NOW , but other priorities at this time .
Figure the Center of Lift at the M A C point Spanwise , on Wing Centerline there , so is Up a Bit .
Controls are UP at the C/S , go out flat to underside of inner wingtip .
Muffler tank etc is LOW , and Engine C.G. is NOT at the Crankshaft Line . Also with the Diheadral not alls as it seems .
C. S. flat under , more Area Under . Inverted / Outsides the inward Flow ? And Fuse acting as a FENCE steady it .
Radiator ( Scaleish Thing ) is actually a DUCT , so its seperated Airflow Wake Stabilises .
As Did Tailwheel Drag - You could discern the extra touchieness without the wake trailing aft under there , with Wheel OFF .
