Lost another

I am very sorry to say that today we lost another modeler and friend.

This evening around 6-7pm John Lowry passed away.

Please pray for John Lowry's family and close friends.

The last I had talked to John, he felt good and his cancer was in remission. This is a sad day. He was a good guy.

A couple of months ago he had a stroke and then his cancer came back.
I last spoke with him just before the weekend and he did not sound good at all.

Although he and I had a phone friendship; he will be missed...

Met John when he worked at Fox.  We did a couple of short kits together.  I will miss him.

Sad news and John will be missed.   He was already missed by not being at contests, by me anyway.  I think I got the last Doodle Bug kit from him.

Update:
I spoke with John's brother David tonight and he requested in lieu of flowers;
the family would prefer donations to the cancer society (or your desired charity) in John Lowry's name.
