Lost a club member
« on: February 04, 2025, 07:45:03 AM »
I got a call Monday morning that Jim Howell, our Sec/Treas, had passed in his sleep.. This came a shock to our club.  Jim loved building and the history of this hobby.. Didn't seem to care for flying them. One more good buddy gone..

Sorry to hear of this Ty. That's a shame. We had a club member that was of a similar nature, Randy Ross. He wasn't an active flyer or even builder, but was always there and worked his butt off. He had a battle with cancer, and while it didn't look good at first, managed to fight it successfully. But he was also an avid outdoors kind of guy, and decided to drop out of the club and do some traveling along those lines. I haven't seen hum nor heard of him recently but I hope he's OK. Guys like those are pretty important in a club and I'm sure Jim was also and will be missed and remembered.
  With deepest sympathies,
