I am not familiar with the imiatation, but Ted Fancher's Imitation plans are avaialble from the AMA plans service.  The two month Imitation article which is a must read was published in the September and October 1979 issues of Model Aviation.

PAMPA plans has the Fancher Trivial Pursuit (Jul 94 Stunt News) and the Fancher Doctor (May/Jun 69 Stunt News), but not the Imitation.  His Excitation was published in the December 1981 issue of Model Aviation.  These articles should also be in your stunt reference library.
