Title: Looking For PDF File Bundler.
Post by: Glenn (Gravitywell) Reach on May 30, 2016, 04:57:58 PM
Hi everyone.  As the title says, I am looking for a free program that bundles PDF files.  I have many airplane plans that are split into 2 or 3 separate files and I would like to bundle them into one.  I used to have an excellent program for this, but I lost it in a computer crash and can't find it.  I have tried the obvious Acrobat Reader one, but its only a trial offer than you have to buy it and I simply don't have the money for it.  Anyone out there that can help, I'd appreciate it. H^^

How about renaming the series of .pdf files as "StunterXYZ-1, StunterXYZ-2, StunterXYZ-3", etc.?  That way, the normal alpha-numeric ordering system should put them together?

Have you heard when "Perry Fire" is scheduled for?   #^ Steve

Hi Steve....no I haven't heard yet.  I do hope someone lets me know this year as I missed it last year.

I have the files so they follow each other in a group, but I want to bundle them into one PDF.  It makes it simpler to keep and to send.  But thanks for the idea.

Hi Dave and thanks for the reply.  Is 7 Zip the name of the program?  I'll try Googling it.  I don't want to zip them as it makes it a bit of a bother to go through them and drool! LOL

Not sure what's available on Windoze or Macinspy, but on Linux, there is a neat tool called "pdftk" (PDF ToolKit)

I use PDF Complete. As I recall is wasn't very expensive, like $30 or so. Excellent program. If you get it, I can tell you where the bodies are buried.

a file compression program and file manager, you do not have to unzip to view files.

don't like huge multi page PDF, hard to scroll through

lots of utilities  that merge pdf files.
